The first installment of property tax is due by June 8, 2012. The second installment is due September 7, 2012. The 2012 Tax Bill Collection is published in the Riverton Register and on this website.
-First installment in-person payments:
The first installment of property tax is due by June 8. For your convenience, Clear Lake Township Collector, Bob Todd, will be collecting taxes at Illinois National Bank "Riverton Location". Please check back for in-person payment dates.
Tax payments can not be accepted at Clear Lake Township.
-First & Second installment in-person payments:
-Illinois National Bank in Riverton will accept 1st & 2nd installment tax payments, no later than the installment due date, during normal bank hours.

Past Due Tax Payments:
Residents paying for past due unsold taxes can visit the Treasurer's office within the Sangamon County Bldg., located at 200 South 9th Street, Springfield. Or contact them at 753-6800.
Residents paying for past due sold taxes can visit the County Clerk's Office within the Sangamon County Public Health Department, located at 2833 South Grand Ave. East, Springfield. Or contact them at 753-6760.
